18 ways to supercharge your boring workout

Some helpful hints to keep things challenging.

My favorite suggestions were:
8. Stretch between sets.
10. Kick it old school.
13. Stop and go.
17. Run the rack.


Some additional ideas:

  • Remember to change your workout at least once a month to stimulate growth. I might do 3 sets of 10 for 1 month, then do 4 sets of 15 in the next month.
  • Push yourself if nothing is happening. I sometimes find myself still struggling with the same weight for a long period of time. I have noticed that sometimes if I go to the next weight interval, I achieve the same results. This sometimes even gives my muscles a bigger boost and find myself moving onward after a couple of weeks.
